This position could grow into project work with customers in the future but the primary focus will be on supporting the Corporate environment for the foreseeable future. We are looking for someone with real hands-on experience with Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot, Windows 10, VPN Support, Remote Assistance, etc. along with the basic networking, infrastructure and security concept.

Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) is seeking to hire an IT
Administrator.
The IT Administrator II will be a member of the EECS department’s IT staff as
well as the Tickle College of Engineering IT Staff Council. This position is
responsible for administering the Microsoft Windows servers and
workstations in the EECS department. Under the supervision of senior staff,
the administrator installs, configures, maintains, and secures departmental
services including, but not limited to, configuration management via Active
Directory Group Policy, remote desktop and virtual desktop infrastructure
services, and Hyper-V virtualization. The administrator is responsible for
troubleshooting hardware, operating system, networking, security, and
application software issues. They develop procedures to automate routine
system administration tasks such as OS/application deployment and patching.
Additionally, they advise EECS faculty, students, and staff on IT related
questions and problems. The EECS IT help desk staff relies on this position to
provide level II support for Microsoft Windows. Independent thinking and
decision-making are essential in this position.
